Park City, Kan. - The Central Methodist Men's Wrestling team is sending five Eagles to compete in this year's NAIA National Championships, which will be held at Hartman Arena in Park City, Kansas.
The three-day event will begin Thursday, March 6 and conclude with the semifinal and national championship bouts Saturday, March 8.
Central will be represented by Arojae Hart (133 pounds), No. 1 James Griffin (157 pounds), No. 6 Roman Garcia (174 pounds), No. 9 Sincere Hall-Osbourne (184 pounds), and No. 11 Austin Foye (285 pounds).
Jake Henson (197 pounds), will serve as an alternate at this year's championships.
The five national qualifiers for the Eagles tie the 2022-23 team for the most qualifiers in program history.
Three of Central's wrestlers competing this weekend have previous experience from 2024 including Griffin, Garcia, and Foye. Both Griffin and Garcia earned All-America honors during that championship.
Wrestling will begin Thursday morning at 11:00 a.m.
