Grimes, Iowa - The Central Methodist Men's Wrestling program took part in the Grand View Open, which was held at Ignit Sports and Fitness Club Saturday in Grimes, Iowa. 

The duo of Roman Garcia and Austin Foye placed fourth in the 174 pound and 285 pound brackets respectively. Garcia tallied a 3-1 record and defeated No. 7 Reese Jones of Life University and No. 12 Weston Melvin (Cumberlands) by a 4-2 decision in the consolation semifinals. 

Austin Foye earned a 4-3 Decision over No. 15 Shane Cook of Grand View in the quarterfinals. He also knocked off NCAA Division I Cameron Guether of Northern Iowa by a 7-3 Decision. 

Freshman Eric Hodge finished fifth in the Open Division of the 165 pound bracket.

He went 5-2 in the bracket which included Top 25 wins over No. 17 Justin Winduaer of Montana State Northern by decision and No. 22 Rider Trumble of Cumberlands with a first period pin. 

CMU returns home to host (RV) William Penn for their first Heart dual of the year Thursday, Nov. 20 at 7:00 p.m. inside Puckett Field House.
