Wichita, Kan. - The Central Methodist Men's Wrestling Team is sending nine grapplers to this year's NAIA National Championships this week at Heartland Credit Union Arena in Wichita, Kansas.
The 69th annual event will begin Thursday, March 5 and conclude with the semifinal and national championship bouts Saturday, March 7.
CMU is represented by Arojae Hart (141), Drake Jenkins (157), Kevin Olavarria (165), Eric Hodge (165), Roman Garcia (174), Griffin Ray (184), Cameron Cornman (197), Garine Gibson (285), and Austin Foye (285).
The nine national qualifiers are the most for the program in school history. They previously sent five in both 2023 and 2025.
Of the nine competing this weekend, four have previous championship tournament experience including Hart, Garcia, Cornman, and Foye. Garcia is a two-time NAIA All-American (2024 & 2025), while Foye earned All-America honors last year after finishing second in the 285 pound bracket.
Cornman returns to nationals after earning All-America honors in 2024.
Wrestling is set to begin Thursday morning at 11:00 a.m.
