VANCOUVER, Wash. – Central Methodist University men's cross country was represented by Radovan Kemboi (JR/Eldoret, Ken.) and Elliot Knernschield (SR/Jefferson City, Mo.) at the 2019 NAIA Men's Cross Country National Championship.
The field was set with 37 teams and 81 individuals competing at the national event, creating a field of 335 total racers. Kemboi posted a final time of 26:20.5 to earn a place in the Top 100 finishers. Knernschield was among one of the first 150 to finish after clocking a final time of 26:42.9.
Oklahoma City won its fifth national title at the event after accumulating 110 points in the event. Mark Shaw, also of Oklahoma City, won the individual title with a final time of 24:39.
