Cedar Rapids, Iowa - The Central Methodist Men's Cross Country team concluded its season at the Heart of America Championships this weekend in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.
The 8K race was held at Seminole Valley Park in Cedar Rapids, and was hosted by Mount Mercy.
The race featured 142 total runners across 14 Heart programs. As a team, Central finished in 11th place with 304 total points.
Dimitrios Gkantatsios was Central's highest finisher, placing 46th with a time of 26:20.3. Randy Rojas Mendez followed, crossing the finish line in 26:48.3 for a 61st place standing.
Meshack Kiptanui ran his final collegiate cross country race of his career in a time of 28:08.4 to place 90th. Tristan Hickman rounded out Central's runners, clocking a time of 28:32.7 to finish 94th.
