LAWRENCE, Kan. - Central Methodist's Kayla Esquivel sits in sixth place to lead all Eagle women's golfers after the first day of the Baker Spring Invitational. Kelli Esquivel is currently tied for seventh place.
Kayla Esquivel fired a 95 on Wednesday. Kelli Esquivel shot a 96 after the first 18 holes of golf at the Alvamer Golf Course.
Mallorie Renth is in 16th place after day one. She shot a 105 to round out the top three scores for Central Methodist.
Stacy Yowell of Baker is in first place after shooting an 83. Baker is first in the team standings after carding a 374 on Wednesday.
The final round of the Baker Spring Invitational will begin on Thursday at 9 a.m. CDT.
