MARYVILLE, Mo. - Central Methodist finished in third place at the 2014 Heart of America Athletic Conference (HAAC) Women's Golf Championship at Mozingo Lake Golf Course. The Eagles totaled a 719 (365-354), improving by 11 strokes Tuesday on the Par 72 5,805-yard course.
Central Methodist's Jamie Gisburne finished�sixth overall after shooting a 174 (94-83) in two days. Alannah Hustead tied for seventh after scoring a 179 (89-90).�Ashley Spaulding�tied for 10th with a 181 (92-89). Allison Quigley came in 15th after recording a 185 (93-92).�Jessi Norton�tied for 21st after carding a 191 (96-95).
Hustead and Quigley were named to the 2014 All-HAAC team.
Baker (Kan.) placed first with a two-day score of 705 (362-343) and won the league's automatic berth into the�20th Annual NAIA Women's Golf National Championship May 20-23 at Wilderness Ridge Golf Club in Lincoln, Neb. Missouri Valley's Clarissa Molina won the individual title with a 168 (88-80) and secures a berth into the National Championship.
