Marshall, Mo. The Central Methodist University's women's golf team currently sits 17 strokes behind the Missouri Valley College Vikings after day one at the MVC Fall Invite at the Indian Foothills Golf Couse in Marshall, Missouri.

After day one of play, the Missouri Valley College Vikings hold a slim 366 to 383 lead over the Central Methodist Lady Eagles. The MVC Fall Invite is being played at the Indian Foothills Golf Course in Marshall, which is a par 72. The course overall, is 6,349 yards long.

Hannah Clark and Jamie Gisburne are both tied for third place after a first round 93. Alex Fjeseth currently sits in sixth place and Katie Lee is in ninth place. Kaitlyn Rogers rounds out the starting five for the Lady Eagles, finishing in a tie for 11^th place.

Clarissa Molina from Missouri Valley leads the invite after her first round score of 83. Briana Gallegos from MVC is in second place with a 92 and Jessica Crabtree sits in a tie for third place with Clark and Gisburne with a round of 93.

Missouri Valley also had four extra players compete individually.

The Eagle women's golf team closes out play at the Missouri Valley College Fall Tournament on Thursday morning. The MVC tournament will close out play for the Lady Eagles in the fall, before returning in early 2016 for their spring schedule.
