Marshall, Mo. – The Central Methodist University women's golf team took part in the Missouri Valley College Fall Invite on Tuesday afternoon, at the Indian Foothills Golf Course in Marshall, Missouri. Central finished the invite with a second place finish.
The Eagles had a strong showing Tuesday against a tough Missouri Valley squad. Central's Hannah Clark (SR/Kansas City, Kan.) led the charge for CMU, finishing in fifth place individually, with a round of 89. Jamie Gisburne (SR/Arlington, Tex.) finished right behind Clark in sixth place, with a round of 90. Alexis Hagemeyer and Kaitlyn Rogers (JR/Carl Junction, Mo.) helped round out the Top-10, with scores of 96 and 99.
Missouri Valley College took the team title and the individual title on Tuesday. Clarissa Molina defeated two of her teammates by a stroke, to win the invite with a round of 81. As a team, Missouri Valley defeated Central 331 to 399.
The Eagles close out their fall season on October 24th and 25th in Columbia, Missouri at the Columbia College Fall Invitational.
