Smithville, Mo. - The Central Methodist Women's Golf program took part in the Heart of America Conference Preview Monday and Tuesday at Paradise Valley Courses in Smithville, Missouri.
The 10-team field featured the following Heart programs that competed as full teams; Baker, Central Methodist, Clarke, Graceland, MidAmerica Nazarene, Missouri Valley, Mount Mercy, Park, Peru State, and William Penn.
Altogether there were 55 total golfers.
CMU finished ninth in the two-day tournament with a two-round score of 779.
Sophomore Reagan Bell was Central's highest finisher, placing 16th with scores of 86 and 92 for a total of 178.
Ella Martin finished in a tie for 29th with a total score of 193. Paige Bender (T-40th - 203), Lauren Williams (T-44th - 207), and Karington Harrell (48th - 213) rounded out the field for Central.
Mount Mercy won the team title with a total score of 670, followed by Baker in second (691) and Park third (713).
The Eagles will conclude fall competition at the second iteration of the William Woods Fall Invitational beginning Monday, Oct. 27 at 9:00 a.m. in Fulton, Mo.
