Boonville, Mo. — Central Methodist University women's golf competed against a deep field Monday and Tuesday at the CMU Spring Invitational, hosted by the Eagles at Hail Ridge Golf Course.
Central finished fourth overall with a two-round total of 687 (349–338) while also fielding additional competitors throughout the lineup.
Lincoln University captured the team title at 605, followed by William Woods University (664) and Missouri Valley College (669).
CMU demonstrated notable improvement from round one to round two, shaving 11 strokes off its team score while several individuals made strong moves up the leaderboard.
Leading the way was Reagan Bell, who placed seventh overall with a 161 (84–77), highlighted by one of the top second-round scores in the field.
Lauren Williams delivered a consistent two-day showing to tie for 10th at 167 (84–83), while Kyambria Acy made a strong push to finish tied for 13th at 169 after improving by seven strokes on Tuesday.
Just behind, Sophia Duque placed 15th at 170, matching one of the better second-round efforts for the Eagles with an 81. Ella Martin added a top-20 finish, taking 18th at 173.
Additional contributions came from Paige Bender (186), Karington Harrell (196), Lindsey Burbridge (204), and Raylee Young (260), rounding out a lineup that showed depth across both days of competition.
Central will next compete in the William Woods Spring Invitational beginning Monday, March 30 at Tanglewood Golf Course in Fulton, Missouri.
