Fulton, Mo. — The Central Methodist University women's golf team competed Monday at the William Woods Spring Invitational, hosted by William Woods University.
The event was shortened to 18 holes after Tuesday's final round was canceled due to inclement weather.
The Eagles posted a team score of 347 in the opening round, finishing seventh in the nine-team field. Host William Woods University claimed the team title with a 318, followed by Iowa Western Community College (321) and John A. Logan College (325).
Individually, Kyambria Acy led CMU with an 82, finishing tied for 14th. Reagan Bell followed with an 84 to tie for 22nd.
Ella Martin carded an 89 to tie for 32nd, while Sophia Duque and Lauren Williams each posted rounds of 92, tying for 35th.
Central will next compete in the Missouri Valley Spring Invitational April 20-21st in Marshall, Missouri.
