FAYETTE, Mo. - Eight Central Methodist seniors will play their final regular-season match at Davis Field on Saturday when the Eagles host Graceland (Iowa) in a Heart of America Athletic Conference match. Kickoff from Davis Field is set for 5 p.m. CT.

Graceland's Daniela Gonzalez recorded her first two-goal game since Nov. 2, 2011 against Benedictine (Kan.) in last week's win over Culver-Stockton (Mo.). The Yellowjackets are averaging 7.0 shots on goal per game and 1.5 goals in conference play through four games. Yuli Munoz scored the lone Graceland goal in last season's 2-1 overtime loss to Central Methodist.

Central Methodist Notes

Saturday marks 2014 Senior Night for eight Eagles' seniors, who will play their final regular-season game at Davis Field. They include Jamie Krediet, Ashley Bundren, Kelsey Vanzant, Bola Adeoba, Bailey Brown, Erin Winschel, Sam Savio and Lauren Gagnon. The group's 43-20-7 overall record to date makes them the winningest four-year class in school history, including a season-best 14-3-2 in 2011.

The Eagles are ranked seventh in the NAIA in shots on goal per game (11.8), eighth in assists (44) and goals (53), 20th in shots per game (18.93) and 37th in shutouts (6).

Vanzant Ranks and Ashlee Guillory are tied for 33rd in the NAIA in assists (7).

Nicki Noreen's golden goal in the 100th minute lifted Central Methodist to a 2-1 overtime win at No. 22 Graceland in 2013, the Eagles first win over a ranked team since a 2-1 triumph over No. 12 Baker (Kan.) in 2011. Winschel scored the first Eagles' goal in that contest with an assist from Noreen.

The Eagles are tied with MidAmerica Nazarene (Kan.) and Avila (Mo.) for the final HAAC Tournament playoff spot with two games remaining. Each team sits a game back of Culver-Stockton (Mo.) for fifth place, and the Eagles face the Wildcats on Wednesday, Oct. 29, in Canton, Mo.
