Lykke Named Heart Women's Soccer Offensive Player of the Week

Kansas City, Mo. - Central Methodist senior forward Kirstine Lykke was named the Heart of America Women's Soccer Offensive Player of the Week by the conference office Monday.

It marks the first weekly award for Lykke this season.

Lykke led Central to a pair of wins over Missouri Baptist and Jamestown. She tallied five total goals through the two games, including her second career hat trick against Jamestown on Sunday.

The senior currently leads the Eagles in scoring with nine goals through six games played.

The No. 4 Eagles are currently 5-0-1 and will next face Grand View on Saturday, Sept. 14 at 6:30 p.m. in Des Moines, Iowa.
