Kansas City, Mo. - The Central Methodist Women's Soccer program found themselves ranked No. 7 in the third edition of the NAIA Women's Soccer Coaches' Top 25 Poll.
For the fourth straight week, the Eagles continue leading the way in the national rankings for Heart of America programs. Conference opponents, MidAmerica Nazarene University and Missouri Valley College are also in the national rankings at No. 19 and No. 22 respectively.
The Eagles hold a 7-1-1 record and a 2-1 mark in the Heart after hosting their first conference match this past Monday, earning a commanding 6-0 win over Graceland.
Kirstine Lykke, who had a hat-trick in that match, continues to lead the way for the Eagles offensively. The Senior currently has 14 goals scored in just nine matches played. Defensively, the team has been dominant as well, posting six clean sheets on the season and surrendering just four goals in nine matches.
They will continue conference play on Saturday, Sept. 28, on the road facing Baker University at 5:00 p.m. in Baldwin City, Kansas.

Poll Methodology:
- The poll is for publicity purposes only and has no weight or bearing in the selection process for national championship field consideration.
- A panel of head coaches representing each conference and Continental Athletic Conference (Independents) voted on the poll.
- The Top 25 is determined by a points system based on how each voter votes for the best teams. A team receives 30 points for each first-place vote, 29 for second-place, 28 points for third-place and so on through the list.
- The highest and lowest ranking for each team (a non-rating is considered a low rating) is removed.
- Teams that receive only one point in the ballot are not considered "receiving votes".
