Senior Erica LaBoube (Berger, Mo.) led CMU with eight kills in the match on 17 swings, while also recording three blocks. Junior Morgyn Bergschneider (Archie, Mo.) finished with six kills and two blocks, and senior Nikki Torno (St. Louis, Mo.) added five kills. Sophomore Sarah Lewey (Kansas City, Mo.) talled 17 assists for the Lady Eagles, while freshman Laura Queen (Rogersville, Mo.) had 10. Sophomores Paige Shipley (Sedalia, Mo.) and Hannah Babcock (Columbia, Mo.) finished with eight digs each, while Melanie Touchette (Millstadt, Ill.) had six digs and two ace serves.

The Lady Eagles fell to 4-6 on the season with the loss, while Culver-Stockton improved to 3-8. Central Methodist has a week to prepare for its next match when the Lady Eagles travel to Lamoni, Iowa, Sept. 21 to take on Graceland University.
