LaBoube, Reed, Touchette Earn All-HAAC Volleyball Honors
Three Central Methodist University volleyball players were recognized on the 2010 Heart of America Athletic Conference all-conference teams, led by second-team selection senior Erica LaBoube (Berger, Mo.).

LaBoube was named to the All-HAAC second team, while juniors Taylor Reed (Toledo, Ohio) and Melanie Touchette (Millstadt, Ill.) received honorable mention honors.

LaBoube, a middle hitter, led CMU with 242 kills and 78 blocks this season. She recorded double-digit kills in nine of CMU's matches. In her two seasons with the Lady Eagles, LaBoube tallied 421 kills and 152 blocks.

Reed, a right-side hitter, was an honorable mention all-conference honoree after finishing second on the team with 172 kills. She also had 56 blocks. Reed posted double-digit kills in five of CMU's final 10 matches of the season, including a career-high 15 kills in two of those matches.

Touchette, a libero, was a repeat honoree on the All-HAAC honorable mention. She posted a team-high 288 digs, while also finishing the season with 90.2 percent passing on service receptions. Touchette now has 966 digs in her three seasons at CMU. She was also an All-HAAC honorable mention selection in 2009.
