Central Methodist University junior setter Sarah Lewey (Kansas City, Mo.) and senior middle hitter Taylor Reed (Toledo, Ohio) received the Heart of America Athletic Conference Volleyball Setter- and Hitter-of-the-Week Awards, respectively.

Lewey averaged nine assists per set in Central Methodist's five matches last week. She tallied a season-high 55 assists in the Lady Eagles' five-set win over Mount Mercy University, while also posting three ace serves in the match. Lewey added 10 kills and 17 digs in 18 sets on the week for CMU.

Reed had a big week offensively for Central Methodist, posting a .415 hitting percentage in the Eagles' five matches. She averaged 3.78 kills per set, including 21 kills in the win over Mount Mercy. Reed also finished with 12 blocks on the week, including four solo blocks.
