FAYETTE, Mo. - Shelby Rice has signed a NAIA National Letter of Intent to play volleyball at Central Methodist for the 2012 season, head coach Diane Shipley announced.�She was a three-sport standout in volleyball, basketball and track at Cole Camp High School in Cole Camp, Mo.

Rice�was a�three-time All-Conference and All-District�selection in volleyball. Rice was also named to the All-Region first team.

On the basketball court, Rice was a three-time All-Conference choice and a two-time All-District selection. She was named to the Sedalia Democrat All-Area, KMZU Dream, Warsaw All-Tournament and WK Shootout All-Tournament teams.

Rice was named All-State in track in the Triple Jump.
