Volleyball falls at Benedictine in three games
ATCHISON, Kan. - The Central Methodist University volleyball team lost its Heart of America Athletic Conference opening match Wednesday at Benedictine University.

The�Lady Eagles (0-5, 0-1 HAAC)�fell�in three games to the Ravens (4-5, 1-0 HAAC) at Ralph Nolan Gymnasium by scores of 14-25, 18-25 and�18-25.

Central Methodist outside hitter Makenzie Shepard tallied�six kills and three blocks. Middle hitter Allie Slaton�came up with�five blocks. Setter Sarah�Lewey dished out 11 assists, 10 digs and one service ace.

Central Methodist will take part in Avila's Eagle Invitational on Friday and Saturday. On Friday, the Green and Black will face Northwestern College�(11 a.m. CT) and Bacone College (3 p.m. CT).�
