FAYETTE, Mo. - Central Methodist dropped a three-game match to Peru State (Neb.) in Heart of America Athletic Conference action Saturday inside Puckett Fieldhouse. The Eagles fell by scores of 20-25, 23-25 and 22-25.
Bre Brandt led Peru State (14-9, 1-1) with a double-double, recording 14 kills and 14 digs. Mallory Hull had 22 digs. Hope Harsh and Courtney Jurek dished out 19 and 13 assists, respectively.
Jordan Jackson paced Central Methodist (14-8, 1-4) 12 kills. Jennifer Long and Dana Peters each had eight kills. Andrea Lopez came up with 21 digs, while Jennifer Long had 10. Melody Hanson recorded 19 assists, while Christine Koepke had 11.
Central Methodist travels to Hannibal-LaGrange (Mo.) for a non-conference match on Tuesday, Oct. 8. First serve is set for 7 p.m. CT.
