FAYETTE, Mo. - Central Methodist defeated Hannibal-LaGrange (Mo.) in three sets by scores of 25-11, 25-12 and 25-15 on Saturday inside Puckett Field House. The Eagles have won three-straight matches, all at home.
Central Methodist (12-16) was sparked offensively by Lindsay Smith's 11 kills and four service aces to go along with six digs and a solo block. Andrea Lopez had 12 digs. Lopez also had three service aces, while Katie Dozier had two. Melody Hanson dished out 14 assists.�
Shelby Maupin and Devin Boeckstiegel each had four kills for Hannibal-LaGrange (5-24). Carli Penrod had eight digs.�
The Eagles resume Heart of America Athletic Conference play at Benedictine (Kan.) on Tuesday, Oct. 28, at 7:30 p.m. CT.
