With the victory, CMU improves to 6-4 overall on the season, and 1-1 in the Heart of America Athletic Conference. With the loss, William Penn drops to 1-7 overall and 0-1 in Heart of America Athletic Conference action.

The Lady Eagles got a strong ovation from their home fans in their 2015 home opener on Wednesday evening. CMU played well with the support, taking the first set by a final of 25-11.
�
The second set turned out to be the closest set of the night, but CMU was still able to pull away for the 25-16 win.
�
To close the match out, the Lady Eagles finished off William Penn with a score of 25-13 in the third set to take the match 3-0.
�
Central Methodist dominated on all sides of the ball Wednesday evening. The Eagles finished with 40 kills, to William Penn's 19. CMU also finished with nine serving aces, to just one for William Penn and they out blocked WPU by six.

The Lady Eagles travel to Kansas City this weekend to take part in a tournament hosted by Avila on Friday and Saturday. CMU will be in action on Friday at 1pm and 5pm against Bethel College and Bethany College.
