Columbia, Mo. - The Central Methodist University Lady Eagles volleyball team completed play on Saturday afternoon in the Stephens College Tournament in Columbia, Missouri. CMU defeated Central Christian College 3-0 in their first match of the day, and then defeated Kansas Wesleyan University by the same score of 3-0 to close out play.

Central Methodist improves their record to 24-6 overall and is on a four match winning streak.

In the first match of the day against Central Christian College from Kansas, the Lady Eagles rolled to a quick 3-0 win. Final scores were: 25-14, 25-12, and 25-22. Darcy Latham led CMU with 13 kills, while Caitlin Petty led the team with 19 assists. Melody Hanson finished with a team high 10 digs.

The second match of the day, sent Central Methodist up against a tough Kansas Wesleyan team. The match was close throughout, although the Lady Eagles won in three sets. Final scores were 25-21, 25-19, and 26-24. Madison Bond led CMU with 10 kills, Erin Dodd had a team high 19 digs, and Savvy Hughes led the team with 17 assists.
