Lady Eagles Finish Haskell In Three Sets
Fayette, Mo. The Central Methodist University Lady Eagles volleyball team took care of business quickly on Thursday, by defeating Haskell Indian Nation University 3-0 inside of Puckett Field House. Final scores were: 25-14, 25-13, and 25-9.

With the victory, Central Methodist improves to 26-8 overall, while Haskell Indian Nations University falls to 3-23 overall.

It was a quick night for the Lady Eagles on Thursday, as they proved too strong for Haskell Indian Nation University. CMU came out firing from the beginning and took the match in straight sets. The Lady Eagles were able to play everyone on their bench in their final non-conference match of the regular season.

In the victory, the Lady Eagles were led by senior Lindsay Smith who recorded 10 kills. Savvy Hughes led CMU with 18 assists while Erin Dodd had a team high 17 digs.

Central Methodist closes out the regular season on Tuesday, when they travel to Iowa to face Grand View University at 7pm. The Lady Eagles are in a battle for playoff seeding in the Heart of America Athletic Conference postseason tournament.
