With the loss, Central Methodist falls to 26-9 overall and finish conference play at 5-6. With the victory, the 24th ranked Grand View Vikings improve to 23-12 overall and finish conference play with a 9-2 record.

The Vikings proved too strong for the Lady Eagles on Tuesday evening, earning a victory in straight sets over Central Methodist. Grand View hit a match best .419 in the first set, to just .229 for Central Methodist.

Both teams struggled to hit the ball in the second set, but it was the closest set of the evening. Central Methodist battled, but fell late 27-29.
�
Grand View closed out the match in the third set, outhitting the Lady Eagles .300 to .222. The Vikings won the set 25-20 to close out the match and put a cap on the regular season for both teams.

In the loss, Lindsay Smith led the Lady Eagles with 12 kills, while Madison Bond led the way with five blocks. Savvy Hughes had a team high 22 assists and Erin Dodd led the team with 18 digs, one more than Darcy Latham's 17 digs.

The Lady Eagles will next be in action this coming Saturday November 7th at Evangel University�in a Heart of America Athletic Conference quarterfinal postseason tournament match. CMU earned the 7th seed in the tournament, while Evangel earned the 2nd seed. The match is scheduled to begin at 2pm.
