Kansas City, Mo. The Heart of America Athletic Conference announced their all-conference volleyball awards on Thursday afternoon, with three Lady Eagles earning honors. Darcy Latham (Bismarck, Mo.) was named to the all-conference second team, while both Madison Bond (Jefferson City, Mo.) and Erin Dodd (Pittsburg, Ill.) were named to the honorable mention list.

"We are very excited and proud of our three players that earned all conference honors," said CMU head volleyball coach Allison Jones-Olson. "Darcy, Madison and Erin led our team in kills, blocks and digs this season."�

Sophomore Darcy Latham had strong season for Central Methodist, which saw the team turnaround from a 13-17 season in 2014, to a 26-10 mark this season. Latham led Central Methodist in kills with 387, which averages out to close to four kills a game.

Sophomore Madison Bond led the Lady Eagles in total blocks, 35 and in block assists with 94. She also ranked third on the team with 271 kills.

Junior Erin Dodd led the team in passing this past season. Dodd who transferred to CMU from John A. Logan Community College finished the season with a team high 588 digs.

"Awards are always great for the individual but for the team too," said Jones-Olson. "It shows that the teams in The Heart are taking notice of our team and the talent we have on it.�I am excited that we return all three of these players for the 2016 season. We only had three seniors this past season, so the majority of our team will stay intact as we look to build off of this season headed into 2016."
