2015 Daktronics-NAIA Volleyball Scholar-Athletes Announced
Kansas City, Mo. -�The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) announced Friday that 428 volleyball student-athletes have been named 2015 Daktronics-NAIA Scholar-Athletes. Kansas Wesleyan leads all institutions with 10 individuals on the list.

Three members from Central Methodist University were named to the list on Friday. Those three players are senior Katie Dozier (St. Charles, Mo.), junior Melody Hanson (Spring Hill, Kan.), and senior Lindsay Smith (Gainesville, Fla.).


"We are very proud of our scholar-athletes," said Lady Eagles head coach Allison Jones-Olson. "They do an excellent job of managing their time between the court and classroom."�

In order to be nominated by an institution's head coach or sports information director, a student-athlete must maintain a minimum grade point average of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale and must have achieved a junior academic status.
