FAYETTE, Mo. – Two Central Methodist women's volleyball student-athletes have been recognized by the American Volleyball Coaches' Association for their play during the 2018 season.
Rightside hitter, Marija Janjusevic (SR/Belgrade, Serbia) received the honor after a successful senior season. Janjusevic currently boasts 346 kills, 44 blocks, and a .318 hitting percentage. She ranks 32nd in the nation for hitting percentage.
Outside hitter and Heart of America Athletic Conference Player of the Year, Jane Kickham (JR/Springfield, Mo.), also was honored in the Midwest region. Kickham currently leads the team with 360 kills and 37 aces, while also showcasing 402 digs and 45 blocks.
After a successful 28-5 regular season, the Eagles women's volleyball team qualified for a first-time appearance in the 2018 NAIA Women's Volleyball National Championship.
