KANSAS CITY, Mo. - The Central Methodist University women's volleyball team, who boasts an overall record of 21-2 and is the only undefeated team remaining in conference play, remains locked at the No. 14 spot in the latest edition of the NAIA Women's Volleyball Coaches' Top 25 Poll.
The Eagles are riding a 14-game win streak, which includes nine since the previous poll. They also secured a pair of wins over opponents that were receiving votes since the previous announcement. As a team, Central leads the nation in assists per set (13.99) and kills per set (14.95), is 2nd in total kills (1,166), and total assist (1,091), and is 4th in hitting percentage (.266).
The team is joined in the rankings by Grand View, who fell five spots to No. 12. The two teams are set to dual on October 18th in Puckett Field House.
Central will return to action on Saturday, October 5th, with a trip to Baker University. Match time is set for 4 PM in Baldwin City, Kan.
