Fayette, Mo. – Central Methodist University Vice President for Athletics and Student Life, Natasha Wilson announced CMU's partnership with Hometown Ticketing for the 2020-21 season.
Hometown Ticketing provides schools and athletic conferences with everything needed to offer professional-level online ticketing to their fans and community.
In conjunction with their partnership with Hometown Ticketing, CMU Athletics has also announced revisions to its ticketing and attendance policy for the 2020-21 season and athletic events due to COVID-19. "Our goal is to provide an enjoyable but safe game day environment for our student-athletes, coaches, faculty, staff, and fans. The health and safety of our campus and surrounding Fayette community is our number one priority. To 'Protect the Nest' it will take all of us together as one," CMU Vice President for Student Life and Athletics Natasha Wilson said.
The revised attendance plans include reduced seating capacity, mobile ticketing, and physical distancing measures. The plans are subject to change based upon guidance from the Heart of America Athletic Conference, NAIA, local and state health authorities.
- Per the Heart of America Athletic Conference guidelines, only members of the CMU campus community (with i.d.) and fanbase will be allowed into home athletic events. No visiting team fans are allowed to attend at this time.
- New contactless ticketing will be used and all fans must purchase tickets on their mobile device ahead of time and present the ticket at the designated gate for entry.
- Spectators will be subject to a temperature check before admittance. Anyone with a temperature of 100.4 or greater and symptoms will not be allowed to enter athletics venues. Refunds will be available in this instance.
- Properly worn face coverings are required for all fans per the Central Methodist University Face Covering Policy. Please follow CDC guidelines for children under the age of two. Fans can only remove face coverings while eating or drinking.
- CMU athletics has designed new seating layouts for all athletic facilities to accommodate the recommended physical distancing guidelines.
