KANSAS CITY, Mo. - The Heart of America Athletic Conference Council of Presidents (COP) has decided to move the 2020 Heart Women's Volleyball Tournament to the spring. 

"We felt that this move was necessary to provide the best student-athlete experience while balancing the current COVID-19 environment that our member institutions are facing," stated Commissioner Lori Thomas. 

Postseason action will feature the top four teams from each division through three rounds of single-elimination play. The higher seed of the two opponents will serve as the host in each round. Tournament dates and an official bracket are still to be determined and will be announced at a later date. 

The 41st Annual NAIA Women's Volleyball National Championship is set to begin on April 17 with opening-round action, followed by final site play on April 27-May 1 in Sioux City, Iowa.
