Columbia, Mo. - The No. 11 Central Methodist Volleyball program completed a perfect 4-0 weekend with victories over John Brown (Ark.) and William Woods University Saturday afternoon on the final day of the Columbia College Invite in Columbia, Mo. 

The Eagles' third match of the tourney came against John Brown, where Central swept the Golden Eagles (25-14, 25-12, 25-13). 

CMU was extremely efficient offensively, finishing the match with a .449 hitting percentage, compared to just .085 for John Brown. 

Sydney Healy led the offense with nine kills on 15 swings, while Callie Henson followed closely behind with eight. Grace Unnvik and Delaney Miller added six kills apiece. 

Avery Hays dished out a team high 21 assists and Krystal Brauner collected 17 digs. Central finished the afternoon with 18 blocks, including seven block assists from Unnvik, four from Henson, and three from Giulia Sasso. 

The Eagles concluded the weekend with a four set victory over William Woods (23-25, 25-15, 25-19, 25-18). CMU had four players reach double-digit kills including Sasso (14), Jordan Wolfe (12), Henson (10), and Unnvik (10).

Brauner reached double figures for the third-straight match, collecting 19 digs. Teammate Annabelle Maassen also reached double-digit digs with 13. 

Gabi Owczarek dished out a team-high 23 assists, followed by Marina Alonso with 21. Alonso nearly collected a double-double with eight digs, along with a match-high three service aces. 

Central continues non-conference action with a trip to Bellevue, Neb. where they will compete in the GoSarpy.com Labor Day Classic Sept. 3-4.
