Kansas City, Mo. - The Eagle duo of Callie Henson and Grace Unnvik both earned Heart Volleyball Player of the Week honors, announced by the conference office Monday afternoon.
Henson took home Attacker of the Week honors, while Unnvik was named the Defensive Player of the Week.
Henson, a native of Jefferson City, Mo., averaged 3.65 kills per set and hit .491 in the Eagles' four victories this past weekend against (RV) Texas Wesleyan, (RV) Dakota Wesleyan, No. 15 Westmont and No. 19 Oklahoma City. Overall she tallied 62 total kills in four matches and is currently top five in the NAIA in hitting percentage (.425).
Unnvik tallied 26 blocks in the four victories, averaging an impressive 1.44 blocks per set. She is currently No. 7 in the NAIA in blocks/set (1.41).
The Eagles will next compete in the Missouri Baptist Triangular Friday, Sept. 10 in St. Louis, Mo.
