Parkville, Mo. - In a rematch of last year's Heart Tournament Championship, the No. 12 Central Methodist volleyball team fell in four sets to No. 6 Park University by scores of 24-26, 25-23, 20-25, and 9-25. 

CMU now stands at 15-3 overall and 6-1 in the Heart, while the Pirates improve to 13-2 and 6-0 in conference play. 

Callie Henson and Grace Unnvik led the Central offense with 12 and 11 kills respectively. Sydney Healy followed with nine kills while both Annabelle Maassen and Delaney Miller tallied six. Marina Alonso dished out a team-high 24 assists, followed by Yenne Schepers with 19. 

On the defensive side, Krystal Brauner recorded double-digit digs with 18, as did Maassen with 15. Unnvik collected five blocks, followed by Hannah Marcee and Healy with three each. 

As a team, CMU finished the evening with a .148 hitting percentage compared to .274 for the Pirates. 

Central returns home to host Evangel University Friday, Oct. 1 at 7:00 p.m. inside Puckett Field House.
