Kansas City, Mo. - Opening the month of October with five-straight wins, the Central Methodist women's volleyball program cracked the Top 10 of the NAIA Women's Volleyball Coaches' Top 25 poll, landing at No. 10.
It is the second highest national ranking in program history, as CMU climbed as high as No. 9 on April 7, 2021.
Other Heart programs featured in the Top 25 include; No. 4 Park and No. 24 Grand View.
The Eagles sport an overall record of 20-3 and an 11-1 mark in conference action, with their only three losses coming to ranked opponents. CMU remains undefeated at home at 8-0, and have only dropped four total sets on their home floor.
CMU has secured several notable wins over Top 25 opponents this season including, at the time, No. 13 Dakota Wesleyan, (RV) Westmont, and (RV) Oklahoma City in non-conference play, and No. 24 Grand View in Heart action.
Senior middle blocker Grace Unnvik has paced the Eagles' defense with 1.35 blocks/set, good enough for No. 4 in the nation. She has also tallied 225 total kills and recorded a hitting percentage of .384.

Poll Methodology
- The poll was voted upon by a panel of head coaches representing each of the conferences and Unaffiliated Groups.
- The Top 25 is determined by a points system based on how each voter ranks the best teams. A team receives 30 points for each first-place vote, 29 for second place and so on through the list.
- The highest and lowest ranking for each team (a non-rating is considered a low rating) is removed and the team's ranking will be recalculated with an additional point added to each team for every ballot (including discounted ballots) that the teams appear on.
- Teams that receive only one point on the ballot are not considered "receiving votes"
