Fayette, Mo. - Inside a packed Puckett Field House, the No. 10 Central Methodist Volleyball program hosted No. 4 Park University in a matchup of the top two teams in the Heart Tuesday night. 

The Eagles fell in four sets to the Pirates by scores of 24-26, 14-25, 25-21, and 18-25. Central now stands at 22-4 and 13-2 in the Heart, while Park improves to 20-2 and 13-0 in conference play. 

After battling in set one, the Eagles were slowed by the Pirates' offense in set two, before bouncing back with a convincing win in the third set. But the Pirates closed out the match in set four, 25-18 to claim a four-set victory. 

The set three victory for CMU also marked the first time the Pirates had dropped a set in the month of October. 

Callie Henson led the offense with 19 kills, followed by Jordan Wolfe with 11. Grace Unnvik tallied seven kills with three blocks, while Wolfe added a pair of blocks. 

Marina Alonso dished out a team-high 28 assists followed by Yenne Schepers with 11. Three Eagles reached double-digit digs, led by Krystal Brauner, who recorded a match-high 28. Annabelle Maassen collected 15 digs and Sydni Basler tallied 10. 

Central travels to Culver-Stockton College to face the Wildcats Friday, Oct. 22 at 7:00 p.m in Canton, Mo.
