Kansas City, Mo. - For the second time this season, Central Methodist sophomore libero Krystal Brauner was named the Heart Defender of the Week, as announced by the conference office this afternoon.
Brauner also won the award back on Sept. 13. The Jefferson City, Mo. native totaled 83 digs, averaging 5.53 digs/set. Through 16 conference matches so far this season, Brauner ranks fourth in the Heart in service aces (24), digs (246), and sixth in digs/set (4.56).
The Eagles currently boast an overall record of 24-6 and a 14-2 mark in conference play. Central will next host defending NAIA National Champion Missouri Baptist University Tuesday, Oct. 26 at 5:00 p.m. in Puckett Field House.
