Kansas City, Mo. - 19 members of the Central Methodist Volleyball program were named 2022 Daktronics NAIA Volleyball Scholar-Athletes by the national office Tuesday.
CMU was represented by the following athletes; Addison Butler, Allie Schulte, Annabelle Maassen, Ashlee Flowers, Cocone Matsuzawa, Dejah Flowers, Hope Webb, Jessica Mowry, Karli Wolfe, Krystal Brauner, Lydia Elder, Marina Alonso, Rebecca Neighbors, Renee Finke, Samantha Doisy, Sarah Johnson, Shea Luby, Yaeriliz Santiago, and Yenne Schepers.
The group is among 609 student-athletes from across the country to be recognized.
In order to be nominated by an institution's head coach or sports information director, a student-athlete must maintain a minimum grade point average of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale, must appear on the eligibility certificate for the sport and have attended one full year at said institution.
