Kansas City, Mo. - The Central Methodist Volleyball program garnered 14 Daktronics NAIA Scholar Athletes, which were announced by the national office last week.
The 14 Eagles to represent the program are; Annabelle Maassen, Malerie Workman, Kelsie Walker, Lauren Strange, Amira Lovellette Butt, Taylor Graham, Sam Doisey, Gimena Dezeo, Ava Notheis, Joana Milho, Rita Campos, Aubrey Calhoun, Paula Boser, and Jessie Alverson Freese.
Maassen finishes her career as a four-time NAIA Scholar-Athlete, joining former teammate Krystal Brauner as the only two Eagles in program history to earn Scholar-Athlete honors four times.
To qualify as a Daktronics NAIA Scholar-Athlete, students must maintain a minimum cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale, appear on the eligibility certificate for their sport, and have attended their institution for at least one full year.
