Fayette, Mo. - The (RV) Central Methodist Volleyball program completed the home opening weekend with a three-set sweep of William Penn Saturday afternoon in Fayette, Mo. 

Central defeated William Penn by scores of 25-21, 25-19, and 25-22. 

With the win, the Eagles improve to 9-3 overall and 1-1 in conference play, while William Penn falls to 13-6 and 3-1 in the Heart.

Central's offense was strong from start to finish, concluding the match with a .219 hitting percentage compared to .098 for the Statesmen.

Senior Haliey Dreier led the Eagles offensively registering nine kills on 16 swings for a .438 hitting percentage.

Junior Martina Gonzato also tallied nine kills, followed by Luciana Araujo with eight, and Summer Hake and Joana Milho with seven.

Milho led the digs column with 12, accompanied by freshmen Sydney Bollenbach with 11 and Ramsey Spinks with 10. The Eagles' defense also recorded nine blocks a team.

Sophomore setter Mariah Bostic-Jones dished out 21 assists followed by Spinks with 17.

The Eagles take on Missouri Baptist on the road this Wednesday at 7:00 p.m.
