Kansas City, Mo. - The (RV) Central Methodist women's wrestling team particpated in the inaugural Eagle Duals, hosted by Avila University Saturday morning in Kansas City, Mo. 

Central fell in the first two duals of the morning against No. 1 Grand View and No. 14 Baker, before closing the day with a narrow 27-22 win over Avila. 

Freshman Alexis Miller highlighted the day for Central with a perfect 3-0 record, which included two wins by Fall and an upset victory over No. 14 Chloe Krebsbach of Grand View. Fellow freshman Lillian Gough record two wins in three matches, including back-to-back victories by technical fall. 

The Eagles will next compete in the EZ-Flex Open hosted by Ottawa University Saturday, Jan. 8 beginning at 9:00 a.m. in Ottawa, Kan.
