Fayette, Mo. - The No. 14 Central Methodist women's wrestling team earned a 28-14 victory over Missouri Baptist Monday night inside a packed Puckett Field House.
After dropping the first two bouts at 109 and 116 pounds, the Eagles rattled off five straight victories, highlighted by three tech falls and two pins.
Junior Corinne McClure earned a victory by Fall over Taryn Johnson in the second period at the 130 pound weight class, as did freshman Tyler Richardson in the 143 pound bout in just 0:38.
Sophomore Jaycee Foeller concluded the evening with a 10-0 Tech Fall in the 191 weight class, cementing a 28-14 Central victory.
CMU will next compete against No. 3 Grand View in a dual Thursday, Nov. 10 at 5:00 p.m. in Des Moines, Iowa.
