Lousville, Ken. - The No. 10 Central Methodist Women's wrestling team posted a 3-2 record at the highly competitive NWCA National Duals this weekend in Louisville, Ken.
The event featued 16 of the best women's wrestling programs in the NAIA along with several other divisions of collegiate wrestling from around the rest of the country. It marks the first time CMU has been represented at the event.
All three of Central's dual victories came against opponents ranked in the Top 20 including; No. 15 Oklahoma City, No. 8 University of the Cumberlands (Ky.), and No. 16 Brewton-Parker.
At the end of the weekend, Central finished the duals with a ninth place standing.
Freshman 155-pound grappler Caitlyn Davis posted a perfect 5-0 record this weekend, while Skye Realin finished 4-1, Jaycee Foeller 3-0, and Allison Hynes 3-2.
Central returns home to host Iowa Wesleyan in a dual Tuesday, Jan. 10 at 5:00 p.m. in Puckett Field House.
