Fayette, Mo. - In front of a raucous crowd, the No. 10 Central Methodist Women's Wrestling team knocked off rival and No. 14 nationally ranked Missouri Valley College Tuesday night inside Puckett Field House.
Prior to the dual, the program honored its 2022-23 Senior Class which included; Grace Pinkerton, Rachel Rodawald and Giovanna Loza.
The dual featured five bouts between nationally ranked wrestlers highlighted by a top five matchup between No. 1 Kelani Corbett of Missouri Valley, and CMU's No. 5 Jaycee Foeller at 191 pounds.
The Eagles won the dual, 30-16 with six victories including three via Tech Fall and three by pin. Central also earned a victory via forfeit at 136.
Central will next compete in the Spire Open Friday, Jan. 27 at 9:00 a.m. in Leavenworth, Kan.
