Eagles Post Several Top Three Finishes at Grand View Open

Des Moines, Iowa - The No. 11 Central Methodist Women's Wrestling team had a solid showing at the Grand View Open Saturday in Des Moines, Iowa.

Central posted five top three finishes, led by sophomore Caitlyn Thorne. The native of St. Charles, Mo. posted a first place finish in the Gold 116 pound bracket with a 4-0 record.

Jaycee Foeller advanced all the way to the championship of the Gold 191 bracket, finishing the day with a 3-1 record. Anna Haas matched Foeller with a 3-1 record at the Silver 170 weight class.

Hannah Eberhardt finished third in the Silver 191 pound bracket, while Tambria Wilson placed sixth in the Silver 170 bracket.

Skye Realin also earned a third place finish following a 6-1 showing at 130 pounds.

Central will next host William Penn Thursday Feb. 9 at 7:30 p.m. inside Puckett Field House.
