Fayette, Mo. - The No. 7 Central Methodist Women's Wrestling team competed in their final home dual of 2022-23, defeating (RV) William Penn, 27-10 Thursday night inside Puckett Field House.
Following a double forfeit at 101 pounds and a forfeit at 109, No. 2 Caitlyn Thorne earned a 10-0 Tech Fall over William Penn's Catherine Steinkamp in the 116 pound match.
No. 10 Allison Hynes and No. 5 Skye Realin earned victories at 123 and 130 pounds respectively. Following an open weight class for the Statesmen at 136, No. 13 Lillian Gough and No. 2 Caitlyn Davis secured wins by Tech Fall and a 7-0 Decision at 143 and 155 pounds.
Shianne Whited fell to Kylee Eastwood by Fall at 170 pounds, before No. Jaycee Foeller closed the dual out with a 10-0 Tech Fall victory in the 191 pound match.
The Eagles will turn their attention to the postseason, beginning with the Heart of America Conference Championships Saturday, Feb. 25 in Oskaloosa, Iowa.
