Kansas City, Mo. - Five members of the Central Methodist Women's Wrestling team were named Daktronics NAIA Scholar-Athletes by the national office.
Central was represented by Abigail Jastal, Corinne McClure, Rachel Rodawald, Brianne Whited, and Shianne Whited.
The group of five is among 100 student-atheletes from around the country to earn the recognition.
In order to be nominated by an institution's head coach or sports information director, a student-athlete must maintain a minimum grade point average of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale, must appear on the eligibility certificate for the sport, and have attended one full year at said institution.
