No. 18 Central Returns to Heart Action Against No. 6 William Penn

No. 18 Central Returns to Heart Action Against No. 6 William Penn
Fayette, Mo. - The No. 18 Central Methodist Women's Wrestling program returned to Heart action against No. 6 William Penn University Wednesday night inside Puckett Field House. 
 
Central fell to the Statesmen by a final score of 31-13. CMU now stands at 3-3 in duals this season, while William Penn improves to 4-4. 
 
Senior Lillian Gough earned Central's first win of the dual in the 138 pound bout. The native of Jay, Oklahoma upset No. 3 Kendall Bostelman of William Penn with a pin in the first period. 
 
Freshman Mina Himmel then pinned her opponent in the 145 pound dual in less than 90 seconds, giving Central back-to-back wins. 
 
Junior Christina Page provided the final win for the Eagles and the evening, earning a gutsy 8-7 victory by Decision at 207 pounds. 
 
The Eagles will remain at home to host No. 13 Baker University Thursday, Jan. 30 at 7:00 p.m. inside Puckett Field House.
