BELLEVILLE, Ill.---- The Central Methodist competitive dance team defeated Lindewood University-Belleville 73.8-68.65 in the teams fourth competition this season Wednesday afternoon.

The Eagles have now won two duals in a row, since defeating Mount Mercy at home this past Saturday.

The team earned a seven or better in hip hop technique, technical skills and execution, staging transitions, uniformity, choreography and degree of difficulty. One judge gave the Eagles an eight in the final two categories.

Central Methodist scored at least a four in all four team areas, and a perfect five from one judge in performance impression. The Eagles finished with zero deductions for a final of 73.8.

The dance team will return to action on Friday, February 23, when they compete in the NAIA Cheer and Dance National Qualifier at Baker University.
